CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS OF ANGLICAN CHURCH IN NSUKKA CULTURAL ZONE

Ven. Dr. G. C. Asadu

Abstract

This study is an attempt to determine what plausible causes could account for the Anglican Church’s low performance in the last five decades, a time when the use of computers has transformed the world into a global village, when the fundamental human rights principles allow a high degree of freedom, and when there are more literate individuals than ever. Historical approach was used and basically depended on secondary data. The findings made clear the fact that the influence of the contemporary Anglican Church is not exerting as much influence as it once did in the research area. Therefore, it recommends that the church should begin to engage the society.
