COVID -19 PANDEMIC: THE NEW WORLD ORDER AND IMPLICATIONS FOR NIGERIA DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
This study examined New World Order and Implications for Nigeria Development. The methodology used is review of relevant and extant literature after which conclusion was made. Covid-19 pandemic exposes the technological advancement of the world and changes in relationships. The main objective of the study is to create awareness and policy initiatives to enable Nigeria fit into the new world order. It was revealed that the zero carbon emission policy will adversely change the economy landscape of Nigeria and most of the present skill will be obsolete. Accordingly, it was recommended that the government should initiate policies and institutions that add values to other minerals and re-skilled the people to effectively participate in the new world order.
